Strawberry Ice Cream

Strawberry Ice Cream


1/2 quart of sliced Strawberries
2 tablespoons of Lemon Juice
1 cup of sugar (divided)
1 cup of Whole Milk
2 cups of Heavy Cream
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract


1. In a bowl add your strawberries, lemon juice, and 1/3 cup of your sugar. Mix well to marinade. Continue to stir, periodically, for two hours.
2. In a separate bowl, mix together your whole milk with the remainder of your sugar. Use an electric beater to mix the sugar into the milk. Blend for about 2 minutes.
3. Add your heavy cream, vanilla extract, and the juice from your strawberries. Mix well for about 30 seconds.
4. Turn on your Ice Cream Maker on and slowly pour in your cream mixture. Let that run for 25 minutes.
5. Add in your strawberries and run your Ice Cream Maker for 5 minutes.
6. Place in a container and let your ice cream firm up in the freezer for at least 1 hour.
7. Enjoy!
